Volunteers are the heart of everything we do. From coaches and umpires to team managers and committee members, our Association and its competitions simply wouldn’t exist without the time, care and energy our volunteers give each week.

Volunteer Roles
There are many ways to get involved, here are just a few:
- Coach or Assistant Coach
- Team Manager
- Scorer / Timekeeper
- Game Day Support (welcome hub, set up/pack down)
- Committee or Sub-Committee roles
- Umpiring (match payments provided per game)
- Grant applications (research, writing & submissions)
- Sponsorship Seeking & Business Partnerships
- Referring friends, engaging on our social media posts, sharing your positive thoughts about WDNA with your world!
You can volunteer weekly, occasionally, or just for particular events, every contribution matters!

Casual – Hourly Rate
Time Commitment:
Match Day Hours: 4-6 hours per week + Admin Hours: up to 2 hours per week
(120-160 hours total across the 2026 Winter Season of approx. 20 weeks)
Primary Purpose of Position:
To ensure the smooth operation of Saturday Junior Competition match days, delivering a safe, well-organised and positive experience for players, Coaches, Umpires and families.
