As an incorporated community club, W&DNA is governed under a formal legal structure that supports transparency, accountability and fair decision-making. Each year, our members elect a volunteer Committee to oversee the management of the W&DNA, including finances, competitions, policies, safety and long-term planning. This Committee represents all players and ensures decisions are made in the best interests of our entire netball community.
We encourage anyone who is passionate about community sport to get involved. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is usually held in November and is open to all adult players or parents/guardians of players in our community.
Those who attend are welcome to nominate for positions and vote in the election of our Committee for the year ahead.
Your voice, your ideas and your participation help shape the future of netball in our region.

Operational roles play a vital part in the day-to-day delivery of the Association’s competitions and programs.
These roles help turn the Committee’s decisions into action, supporting safe play, clear communication, and well-organised operations across the Association.
Having dedicated operational roles allows responsibilities to be shared, ensures key areas such as safety, compliance, and coordination are well supported, and helps create a positive and consistent experience for everyone involved in our netball community.
Whether you have a little time or can take on a regular role, there are many ways to be involved. If you have skills, experience, or a willingness to help, we’d love to hear from you!
